Have you ever gone to a networking event and left feeling like you didn’t connect at all? Or even worse, it was clique and you felt sold too? Me too! In the eight years of running my small business I’ve been to my fair share of wedding shows, business and networking events and if I’m honest, haven’t been all that impressed. Most of the wedding industry is filled with soloprenuers and small business owners, who often work alone. Even on event days, we are there serving our clients, so the vendor connection comes second.
I am confident that we need community. Not only to grow our business but encourage one another as we serve the wedding industry. I love this industry and am proud to work alongside so many other incredible humans, but if we keep our ideas and frustrations to ourselves, the industry can’t grow and get better. We need one another.

A gathering for wedding professionals. Shannon and I are so excited to host you! As wedding planners and designers we promise every detail is logistically thought through and beautiful. We know you work really hard, and our desire is to create a space that makes you feel seen in your business, while spoiling you with a great brunch, drinks + decor! We want you to leave knowing you are a part of an incredible community of business owners! We know this will make our industry better and don’t want you to miss out!
We are hosting the brunch at Braestone Farm, one of the most sought after wedding venues in are area. The brunch will occur on Thursday May 4, 2023 from 10am-2pm. We have designed the event as a styled shoot (because who doesn’t need content!?) and the flow of the event will happen like a wedding. We’ll have real conversation about the good and bad in the industry and allow you to share your wins and challenges with other wedding pros.
We love to serve others - it’s what we do in the hospitality industry! So this event didn’t feel right to us, unless we were giving back. We’ve partnered with Lost Boys Hope and a portion of the proceeds are going directly too them. The best part? They will be there with a puppy pen. Is there anything sweeter during cocktail hour? We think not!
We want to gather florists, hair and makeup artists, venue coordinators, planners, bartenders, photographers, videographers, officiants, rental and decor companies, musicians, catering companies and anyone who services the wedding industry! You are invited.
Tickets are on sale now so be sure to grab one HERE before they are gone. We know this will be the event of the season to kick off 2023 and don’t want you to miss out! Ticket price increases after April 14, so make sure you get one at the best rate (and before they sell out!)
